Lead Acid Battery Charger 6v / 12V 1A

A handy little charger for light duty charging of 6V or 12V (switch selectable) lead acid batteries.

Has initial "fast" mode, then switches to slow/trickle mode, with LED indication, when full.

Useful for motorcycle, kids ride-on toys, alarm style batteries. Would work on larger car style batteries, but expect long charging times.

1 amp charging current is good for small to medium batteries.

Has "DC" style connector, and also an adaptor to convert the DC connector to croc clips, so most batteries can be connected.

DC connector is centre/pin positive, barrel diameter 5.5mm, accepting pin diameter 2.1mm.

Charging time calculation (approximate): 1A charge current will charge a 2AH battery in 2 hours, a 4AH battery in 4 hours, etc.

Remember to charge in ventilated area, avoid short circuits and consider this is a mains device and therefore is supplied by and contains hazardous voltages.
