These hinges are for Dual turntable dust covers with United Audio bases.  The notch in the hinge is a nominal 1/2" across.  Please check the thickness of your plinth before ordering, as the wood can swell with moisture.  The square notch goes over the back end of the base, while the dust cover rests in the curved notch.  These hinges are meant to fit the smaller sized bases of models 1209,1210,1211,1212,1213,1214, 1215, 1216, 1217, 1218 as well as 1225, 1226, 1227 and 1228. 

These hinges are not for the models with larger bases.  Also compatible with IMPRO bases and dust covers for 3000 series PE turntables (3042, 3044, 3046 & 3048).
