This beautiful 1930s style Half Belt is made with Russet Jerky Horsehide by Aero Leathers out of Scotland. I took a chance on the sizing and bought it unused from Japan. I've only ever tried it on in the house.

The jerky horsehide is one of Aero's midweight leathers. It is soft, pliable, and easy to wear. It also shows lots of natural grain in some areas. The lining is an orange cotton drill throughout. There was some transfer of color onto the label when I gave the inside of the jacket a wipe down, as shown in the pics.

It features Talon brass hardware throughout with button cuffs on the sleeves.

This is a vintage jacket, Aero dated it to the mid 1990s, but it is unworn and is it excellent condition. The leather is still soft and supple with no flaws.

It is tagged a size 38 but may also fit a size 40. Please see measurements below. (all measurements are taken in inches with the garment lying flat):

Pit-to-pit: 22

Shoulders: 18

Sleeve length (shoulder seam to cuff): 25

Back length (base of collar to hem): 23

Hem width: 19.5
