Foster's Essays: Decision of Character - 1869 - Robert Carter & Brothers

Very scarce book -- I was unable to find any actual copied on line (only copied editions).

Title: essays, in a series of letters, on the following subjects: on a man's writing memoirs of himself, on decision of character, on the application of the epithet romantic, on some of the causes by which evangelical religion has been rendered less acceptable to persons of cultivated taste.

The book is in very good overall condition. Spotting on pages as expected from a book of this age, one page has a stain at the bottom (pictured). The book measures 7.5 x 5 inches. 352 pages.
