ITEM DESCRIPTION:

We manufacture our Mustang GT500 style bonnet from aluminum.

Unpainted finish.

ABS plastic front vent.

Inner ABS plastic cover vent.

It comes with a set of screws, nuts, and washers.

INSTALLATION:

1. Preparation:

– Park the car on a level surface and engage the parking brake.

– Ensure the new bonnet and the surrounding area are clean and free from debris.

2. Removing the OEM Bonnet:

– Open the hood of the car and locate the bolts or fasteners securing the OEM bonnet to the vehicle.

– With an assistant supporting the bonnet, carefully remove the bolts/fasteners while holding the bonnet to prevent it from falling.

– Gently lift and remove the OEM bonnet from the vehicle, setting it aside in a safe place.

3. Installing the New Bonnet:

– Position the Shelby GT500 style aluminum bonnet hood onto the designated mounting points of the vehicle.

– Secure the new hood by fastening the bolts or fasteners into place.

– Ensure the hood fits properly and aligns with the car’s body panels.

4. Final Checks:

– Once the new hood is secured, close it gently to verify proper alignment and closure.

– Inspect the seams between the hood and the body to ensure an even fit all around.

– Test the hood latch to confirm it functions correctly and securely holds the new bonnet in place.
