- For sale is a pair of massive framed prints.
- The wine bottle in the first photograph isn't included in this sale but shows the very large scale of these prints.
- Each frame measures 106 x 76 cm approximately.
- The pair show early 20th century portraits of Albert I, King of the Belgians and his wife Elisabeth. Possibly at their Coronation
- Albert reigned from 1909 to 1934 - based on the style of the frames and the ages of the king and queen depicted, it's possible these portraits date from circa 1909 when he became king.
- Overall in very good, original antique condition. There is some 'browning' to the prints - I'm unsure is this is age related or the original paper colouring. Some minor knocks and scratches to the wooden frames but overall in good 100+ year old condition.
- The glass is incredibly 'wavy' and antique - therefore this is a collection only sale please (from Herefordshire) as it would be a great shame if the glass was damaged going through the post.
- In the photographs there are some reflections of items showing in the glass, therefore, if you wish to see any additional photographs please let me know.
- Thank you for viewing. I have enjoyed these prints for many years.
- Sold as seen on ebay - If you've any questions, prior to bidding, please let me know and I'll be happy to assist.
