I am clearing my Late Granddads garage, and am working through some of his tools that I have no use for, and have come across this pretty interesting set of 'Black and Decker Cordless Grass Shears 8280' which I have never seen before.

I have kept a lot of his tools, but have no use for these, so this one can go rather than sit in a toolbox gathering dust.

I have plugged it in to test it, it powers up fine and appears to be in full working order, somewhat surprisingly for such an old cordless tool.  As an old power tool, I would recommend a good look over it, a good check of the cable etc, and if you really wanted a PAT test, but it certainly all appears to work properly.

Its in pretty good condition for a working tool, but does have some areas of wear etc.  The photos give a pretty fair representation of its condition, so please take a look and let me know if you want more/specific pictures.  I have charged them up and they work, but I dont know exactly how they are supposed to work, how well the battery holds charge etc etc - I would suggest the equivalent of a 'service' on them before using, or displaying if you are a collector.

Would rather it is collected so you can see the condition etc, and even plug in and test it if you like, but can post at your cost (and it is heavy!) if you are happy with the risk of damage etc.  If it is collected it would be from Walsall, West Midlands, or I can take it to Cardiff as i go there most weeks for work.

Any questions, just shout.
