This is a group of 5 fully polished pieces of Burmese (Burmite) amber that contain a variety of fossils including a piece with a group of coprolites from the time of the dinosaurs.
The fossils include a piece with a moth, a second piece with a wasp and a small beetle, a third piece with a fly, a piece with a barklouse, and a fifth piece with an interesting group of insect coprolites (fossilized feces or poop) that lived with the dinosaurs.
It is fascinating to note that these organisms were around when dinosaurs were still walking the Earth including T-Rex and Triceratops!
The pieces weigh a total of 9.1 grams with approximate lengths between 0.9 and 3.4 cm length. NOTE: 2.54 cm is 1 inch.
They make for a most unique conversation piece.

(Burmese) amber is difficult to acquire and has been dated to be Cretaceous in age (around 100 million years old) and would have been sticky resin during the time of the dinosaurs and is being mined in the Hukawng Valley in Myanmar (Burma).

Please note that the saltwater
test to identify real from fake amber is not reliable. The saltwater test
claims that real amber will float in saltwater while fake amber will sink.
However, many amber sources or even specimens will not float in saltwater as their botanical (plant) composition as well as fossil inclusions are such that they are more dense than saltwater and so sink. I do not sell fake amber. My feedback should help demonstrate this.
