Limoges France Bayeux Tapestry Free Form Trinket Box "Navigio Mare" Scene. Approximately 2 inches long. Ivory background with color scene from the Bayeux Tapestry depicting Duke WIlliam coming across the sea from Normandy in 1066 in advance of the Battle of Hastings. The outside of the lid and box have a matte finish, the insides are glazed. On the underside is the Limoges France mark and the title "Tapisserie de Bayeux".
