Vintage 1950's Original Kitchen Manual Spong99 Mincer- Made in England one owner - my Mum. Mum and Dad were married in 1951, I was born in 1958, this was central to the kitchen equipment at the time and the careful use of leftovers.

I remember helping out with mincing beef left over from the Sunday Roast with this as a small child. Made in England is cast on the side, also 99 the model number. Green in colour- presumably enameled, made of cast iron with a lovely wooden handle.

It has a lovely look. Still working. It has a very sturdy clamp with intact rubber. The handle moves freely with ease. Just a little rust in places where enamel has worn off - see photos. commensurate with age and use - 70 years old, but doesn't interfere with function . Comes with 4 mincing discs to generate different thicknesses of mince- these are lightly corroded in places, sold as stored for authenticity, but no doubt light sanding  would restore these easily.

Collection in person from Dunchurch Rugby Warwickshire.

Little cautious re postage option as I am aware cast iron is breakable if dropped, so for now selling for collection only.

This item is either good functionally or for home/ kitchen decoration.
