Here is what the CNET review says about the AVR-2312Ci receiver:

"Excellent audio performance. Excellent video performance. Plenty of power. Good network/USB (including FLAC). Menu overlays video. The Denon AVR-2312CI is a receiver at a sweet price/perfomance point. It's not so much that it's some kind of raw powerhouse, but it implements a host of functions in a way that shows how it ought to be done"

When I first acquired this receiver it was in excellent near mint condition and sounded wonderful. Tested it and everything works as designed.

It did not come with a remote control. I have a genuine Onkyo RC-1043 remote that controls the entire receiver perfectly. The only issue it had was the back door would not snap shut. I used some earth magnets and now it stays shut. Comes with brand new alkaline batteries.

This is a recent model from 2012, only 14 years old. Should have plenty of life left in it. Denon still makes the "In Command Series" receivers that can still be purchased new.

There are ten of these receivers currently listed on eBay. One is local pick up only in Arizona and is selling for $140. Three are for parts only (not working) and are selling shipped for $214, $88 and $56. Five appear to be in good condition and are listred as working. They do not include a remote. They are selling shipped for $226, $134, $235, $177 and $150. One also appears to be in good condition and is listed as working. It includes the remote. It is selling shipped for $155. The working models are selling for an average of $180. Mine is selling for 25% less than this average, works perfectly, is in near mint condition, includes the remote but most importantly you get the peace of mind of a full 60 day warranty with free return shipping!
