Here we have my Royal Enfield 250 Continental
I bought this in December 2021. It was totally rebuilt as a Royal Enfield by an engineer.
I have paperwork and receipts for around £3000.
He made a beautiful job of it as you can see from the original photo (last picture)
You may mistake this for a Continental GT because of the fibreglass tank (which has been lined inside)
but it is actually a Continental which was my favourite of all the 250's!
The first time I kicked it up it kicked me back - never been the same since
I retarded the ignition and it ran beautifully but I realised my kick start days are over hence as you can see from
the pictures I fitted a very low mileage Yamaha YBR250 engine
Nothing has been cut or modified and all the original parts in the last picture come with the bike - a days work would see it back to
how it was when I bought it.
Seat height is 27" (bit more with the original seat) 7R seat was £200
All the electrics have been simplified using an electrex coil/cdi ignition pack
The original charging system and rectifier are still used
The front brake is purely experimental as I am sure you will know it is from a Bullet. It is brand new and it can only be described as pathetic. The original brake comes with the bike but I think if you have the time you may be able to get the 2LS to work well.
I am getting rid of 4 of my bikes as I am losing garage space plus they never get used. I am now converted to a scooter?!!!
The bike is in Holyhead and you are more than welcome to come and have a look at it. Total cost of the bike is well over £4000
So I am listng it at £3500 with sensible offers
Brand new battery fitted today!
Cash/bank transfer on collection please
Any questions please ask
Could only upload 1 video but I have more of it running if required
Thanks for looking
