The HX482 delivers on the promise of high-quality audio with its programmable channel monitor button and VOX feature. The radios also have a Personal Attack alarm to help protect you in the event of an emergency. Additionally, the system is protected against shock, vibration, and moisture. The package is capable of charging six Entel HX radios at once, with LED charge status indicators. It has four channel shortcut buttons and scan/priority scan functions.

The radios are black and have a wireless range of UHF 400-470MHz. They include 16 channels, and the unit has a 16-channel call system. The product is also IP55 dust and water-resistant and features dual sockets for radio and battery. They have dimensions of 100 x 62.5 x 39.5mm and weigh 233g, including battery and antenna.
