This I believe is a gesso frame, but could have hand carving elements to it. It probably dates to the late 19th
century. It has cracks, but no missing pieces, really In amazing condition. The frame measures 27” x 19 1/4”,
with the aperture measuring 24 1/8” x 16 1/8” with a 5/8” deep recessed opening. Great frame. R1
