Here’s a pretty cool one that’s easy on the eyes. This is a ‘69 Fender Mustang in Competition Red. This is the more desirable version with the matching headstock which was only done for about two years with this model. Probably one of the more affordable ways into a legit factory matching headstock without spending crazy money.

This one sports plenty of wear as any killer 55 year old guitar would that’s been played. When it comes to a vintage guitar I’m a believer that the good ones get played while the many of the lemons get put in cases under beds.

Everything is original on this as far as I’m concerned. Pots date to ‘66. Pickups are a mix of grey bottom and black bottoms. The grey bottom being dated from ‘67. Original finish all around with some fading in the top coat. This is a California guitar that was played in the sunshine.

Frets are fine and the tuners are original as well. This one also includes the original hardshell case with the neck strap still intact.

This is currently strung up with 10s and plays great. Personally I prefer 11s on my short scale guitars but I’ll leave your preference to yourself.

I’m open to cash or local trades for nice guitars or vintage Fender amps. Willing to ship on your dime.
