Ampersand Art Supply's Museum Series Pastelbord is made from our premium warp-resistant 1/8" profile FSC-Certified Hardbord that is sealed and protected with our proprietary Archiva-Seal and coated with an acid-free clay and gesso ground with a marble dust finish, for tooth. Artists choose Pastelbord because the tooth of the marble dust finish holds more layers of pastel than paper, the hardbord backing makes it perfect for plein air and it can be used with wet and dry applications. Pastelbord is also great with charcoal, conte crayon, colored pencils, watercolor, ink, and acrylic. Available in a 1/8" profile in 4 colors: grey, green, sand and white.
