The record has been cleaned in our amazing Degritter and the vinyl has come up spotlessly clean, very shiny & black with only a few very fine hairlines and scuffs - see photos. No feelable damage.
Playback was huge with intense visceral power as all early Floyd recordings show - this was Abbey Road's mastering at its' brilliant best. Thunderous bass and astonishing stereo imagery with sounds everywhere in your room on a half decent system - this reaches out and grabs you!
The vinyl behaved beautifully with no jumping or sticking. There is some noise audible in parts, mostly between tracks, and a few clicks, but nothing that detracts from the music.
The vinyl is flat with clean labels apart from a name and date written small ( see photos).
The outer textured sleeve has the rounded corner shape. Some age related wear to corners and edges but still sturdy with no wear through, a few creases, but no writing, stains or tears. Spine still readable.
The original "EMI - The Greatest Recording Organisation In The World" printed poly lined inner sleeve is present with a name and date written on. We have popped the record into a brand new anti static sleeve to keep it pristine after cleaning - you will receive both.
