This was a souvenir of the travels on this spectacular ship.
This is a lovely cigarette caddy or trinket box made of Silver plate and cedar wood
It has a carry handle
Each side has a lid that opens as shown in the photos
It has the name of the ship SS Montclare engraved on the centre under the handle
It measures (without the handle)

Length 17.5 cm
The ship was launched in 1923 so this is probably from 1920s
