LOOK AT THIS ILLUMINATOR (BOTH THE FIXTURE AND THE SHADE GLOW UNDER ULTRAVIOLET LAMPS, )a calming sophisticated antique flush mount Early Electric light fixture, with an American made porcelain white antique PORCELIER ceiling flush mount that has a 3” fitter, whilst gripping this groovy Hand Painted with Art Deco 1927 and past Era Floral garden style floral filigree as a Custard Glass globe from the Bobo/Czech area pre-ww2, dating from early electric.

This full fixture is all original and measures 12" long to the bottom of the shade. Shade alone measures 9" down from the ceiling and 8" across the bottom.

Electrical: The fixture uses a standard medium base socket. Use 60-watt bulbs. The bulbs are not included. Suitable for dry locations.

The shade/globe measures 11”in diameter, it is an antique Vanilla Bean Custard opaline glass lamp shade 2&1/4” fitter lip. The sides of the shade are narrowly banded in painted red designs about flowers in the fray. Red and Blue Daisies which is most enjoyable. It is of Bohemian Origins, All hail the Czech glass makers, this is a piece after Moser’s own heart. The Shade is amazing as you can see from the photos it is a true true custard glass, however there is some wear to the painted decoration, but it is hardly noticeable and it is due to time and normal wear and tear, we just don’t want you to have any surprises. It is in otherwise excellent condition.

The fitter is an Early American Electric designed flush mount ceiling light fixture by PORCELIER and it is in very great shape! It is sporting the Uranium Glaze that PORCELIER put on most of their fixtures from this era( SO IT GLOWS TOO!!!)

New Wiring as well! READY TO INSTALL!!!

TWO photos with Different type of UV lamp, they are as follows;

1. We took a photo with our Ultraviolet Light with a 365NM view of what the fixture looked like with it on.

2. We took a photo with our Ultraviolet Light that had a regular Black Light fluorescent bulb like some of us had back in the day when sitting in your room doing nothing was cool. no internet just glowing things.

The reason they look different? I’m guessing that the 365UV is simply a stronger ultraviolet than the fluorescent bulb black light.

This light fixture is in excellent condition with no cracks or breaks to the glass. It will come with all the necessary attachments for modern installation.

Ready to Install.

We double box all glass.

VERY OLD AND VERY LOVELY, YOU’LL LOVE IT TOO!

The roaring 20’s , amazing porcelain fixtures found their place in American homes. The porcelain craze lasted until the 1950s when more metallic designs became the style of the time, easy to see why the porcelain light fixture trend lasted so long. These fixtures are durable, about immune to decay, and their beauty will remain frozen in time.
