Bechtel Syncrude Promo Belt Buckle Mildred Lake Alberta Canada Vtg 1978 ...an awesome old promotional, commemorative belt buckle for Bechtel Syncrude, 1973-1978, Mildred Lake Alberta, Canada. Syncrude is one of the largest operations in Canada’s oil sands industry. This is a heavier, silver tone metal buckle with darkened accents, created by Fred Cooper Limited in 1978. It is in pretty nice condition, as shown in the photos it does have some tarnish / patina and some wear and tear from age or use. This buckle measures approximately 3-1/2" x 2-1/4", it fits a 1-3/4" wide belt and it weighs about 5.4 oz.
