Canon 50mm 1.2 Leica Thread Mount (LTM, M39) Vintage Lens.

Beautiful images. Easily adapted to Leica M mount.(will include an adaptor)

I used this on my Leica M6, and it was one of my most favourite lenses shot wide open. It renders well for portraits and shines in low light. I’m only selling as I no longer shoot much 35mm film nor digital.
It’s sharp in the middle, and given the right conditions the out of focus regions can look quite painterly
I’m not sure if the inner  haze/fungus particularly around the periphery adds a bit to this. A lot of these lenses suffer from this to some degree. There is something around the periphery inside the lens - difficult to photograph. I’m no expert. It’s been like that since my ownership many many years ago and hasn’t gotten any worse. Considering its age it’s pretty good for this particular lens - perfectly usable with excellent results. The bokeh it produces is pretty wonderful. It’s a very characterful vintage lens, sharp in the middle, more for the artist than the clinical photographer.
