HISTORY... The untitled fourth studio album by the English rock band Led Zeppelin, commonly known as Led Zeppelin IV,[a] was released on 8 November 1971 by Atlantic Records. It was produced by guitarist Jimmy Page and recorded between December 1970 and February 1971, mostly in the country house Headley Grange.

The album was a commercial and critical success and is Led Zeppelin's best-selling album, shipping over 37 million copies worldwide. It is one of the best-selling albums in the US, while critics have regularly placed it highly on lists of the greatest albums of all time. In 2010, Led Zeppelin IV was one of ten classic album covers from British artists commemorated on a UK postage stamp issued by the Royal Mail.

Early Matrix Numbers...

The outer gatefold is in fabulous condition. It has no splits or tears and is still vibrant and glossy.  Has minimal imperfections/wear to corners, edges, spine etc as to be expected.

The vinyl has a nice glossy sheen still and sits flat to the surface. Labels are the saught after plum/orange Atlantic labels which are the RARE STICKERED version. They show NO Peter Grant credits and CORRECTED 'Mountain Hop '.

The vinyl has 'Porky' and 'Pecko Duck' to the dead wax. Has some light but non feelable surface lines and two feelable.

Comes with a Led Zeppelin IV protective inner. It is beautifully crisp, has a seam split starting to the bottom. I believe it belongs to a later issue.
