These are superb speakers from Celestion and are basically a V type speaker. These were made in the UK

The V type evolved from this and they are virtually identical in their sonic footprint.

Made as an OEM unit for Hughes and Kettner they give all of that Celestioness in one speaker - cross a Vintage 30 with a greenback and a G12H and you get this.

To my ears they sound way better than the ‘usual suspects’ (Vintage 30s) when playing at sensible volumes so perfect for home use. You don’t have to push them hard to get all the goodies out of them. I have 4 but am keeping 2 for my ‘home use’ 2x12.

Brilliant combo upgrade and with a 60 watt rating will work with so many combos.

I genuinely believe that these are some of the best kept secrets in the speaker world but it would appear that those who know really know.
