A WW 2 and possibly post WW 2 British Special Forces ( SF ) patrol medics instrument roll containing forceps , probes and a variety of other surgical type instruments slotted into pockets that are then safely wrapped into the roll for ease of transportation . Generally in very good condition , but there is some light corrosion on some of the metal instruments .
Perfect for display and re-enactment .
NB. I have been informed that this is an animal biological dissection kit . However , whatever its origins , this was in fact used by a UKSF patrol medic on active service in the Oman back in the 1970's .
