Here is a 2" Diameter 3 Chime Buckeye Steam Whistle With Built In Valve. The bell measures 2" wide, and 5" tall. Overall height is 10" tall, and it has a 1/2" threaded connecting inlet.
It reads Buckeye Brass Works Dayton O. on the top cap rim of the bell.
It is in good overall condition, but it does have a few dings here and there but nothing major. Be sure to look at all pictures.
I knew a man that used to buff whistles to a high polish, and paint the chambers and languid plate this same shade of red. This could be one that he had years ago and now it has a nice looking patina.
The inside valve seats well and is ready to work.
Nice display piece also.
