Minted in the 20th century (before 1960).
Beautiful copy except for some tiny wear and friction, very clear strike, re-strike of a medal from 1674.

The facts: In June 1674, during the Dutch War, a fleet from the United Provinces led by Admiral Cornelis Tromp attempted a landing to take possession of the island in order to alleviate French military pressure on the northern front . On June 27, he landed with 10,000 men and siege equipment, but after two months of trying he decided to leave.
