Here's a Really Nice vintage Canon 7s 35mm format Film Rangefinder Camera--- made from 1964-1967--- the last in the series of Canon Rangefinder cameras that go back to the 1930's.  It is very similar to the Leica M3, in size, weight and function--- like it was made to compete with it (imagine that!).   It takes Leica screwmount lenses--- LTM and it can be yours for about 1/4 of the cost of an M3.

It's in Excellent Condition with just a couple small noteworthy issues.  It is working almost perfectly as far as I can tell---- checked it out with "dry" shooting (I haven't shot real film with it).   First the Cosmetics--- there are a few very light cosmetic marks here and there--- mostly barely noticeable.  There is a very slight ding/impression on the top--- to the left of the accessory shoe.  The shoe looks to be pitched downward a little--- not sure if that's normal---- this is the only one I've ever had.  Aside from that, that's about it for cosmetic issues---- most of them are very mild--- can barely be seen in the photos.

Mechanically--- in my functional "dry" testing---- I can tell you it winds crisply and nicely and the shutter fires perfectly well at just about all the speeds--- the 1/2 second is a tad slower and the 1 second hangs open sometimes.  (and they have not be calibrated/tested for accuracy).   The shutter curtains are metal--- are light tight and smooth and flat.   There is a scuff on one of them but not dents or wrinkles.    And like I said, it works great--- winds smoothly, with snappy shutter speeds above 1/4.   The viewfinder is bright and with perfectly functioning frame lines, with a good rangefinder split image, although it is a little vertically askew.   The self-timer works fine--- goes about 10 seconds and it's clean inside the film chamber.   But I don't know if the lightmeter works. The battery compartment is clean, but I don't have a battery.

So it's Not 100% Mint but it's in Exceptional shape and can be used to shoot with or it can be a nice piece for you collection.   What you see is what you'll get--- the actual item for sale is pictured.... Not stock photos.   I found the Instruction book--- In EXCELLENT Condition, so that is Now Included.

Continental US Shipping will be $12.50.  It will be packed well and safe--- lots of bubble wrap, in a box like a fortress.   International Shipping via the ebay program.

PLEASE READ THIS--- By Bidding you Agree that:  I am not Amazon or a professional Camera Store seller--- just a pragmatic collector/shooter selling some Used items.  I'm not here trying to rip anybody off or sneak one past you.    But that said... I'm not into having things go back and forth based on opinion, or risk "part swapping."   So I'm sorry, I can't sell this item on Approval, it's being sold As Is, No Warranty, No Buyers Remorse, No Try-outs, No Returns.   I've been a photographer for 35+ years and I know how cameras work and what to look for.  But I can't "Bench Test" every thing to factory specs and unless it's Brand New... I can't guarantee that every single aspect may be Perfect... especially when it's a 50+ year old item!  This is an Old, Used Camera and any significant defects that I know of are either pictured or described to the best of my knowledge.  I try to be detailed and truthful but I can't describe every millimeter of it, so there may be a nick or blemish or a few specs of dust that I failed to mention... but they would hardly diminish it... unless you expect everything to be like new and 100% Perfect when it was said not to be.    What you see is what you'll get and I package my items well, so it arrives in the same condition as shown.
