This is a Super Mario Bros. 25th Anniversary Edition DSi XL (my personal favorite console of all time!) in perfect working order but with a few cosmetic issues.

All face buttons, etc., are in great working order and feel very nice to use (still nice and clicky, as they should be on an XL!). Shoulder buttons are consistently responsive and not mushy or sticky.

The screens on this unit are in decent but not excellent condition. The LCDs themselves are not super bright but aren't terribly dim either. I'd say they are about average or just slightly less than average in terms of brightness. There is some fairly mild yellowing at the edges/corners that I can kind of see on white or almost-white color fields like the home screen but don't really notice in actual games (aside from maybe on pure white loading screens or similar situations). The screen surfaces are in decent condition with the exception of one larger/deeper ding on the upper edge of the upper LCD (you can see it in a couple of the pictures) and one scratch on the bottom-right of the touchscreen digitizer. The one on the upper screen is more noticeable, but both are fortunately in fairly out-of-the-way spots so I'm generally able to tune them out. Your mileage may vary with this stuff though. There are a few other scratches and dings as well, but they are small and shallow enough that I can see them while the console is on.

The external shell is not in terrible condition, but it's  scratched up. I did my best to highlight the scratches in my photos, and I think the console generally looks better under real life lighting conditions than in my photos. But it's definitely scratched.

It will come with a good-quality aftermarket stylus (red to match the Mario Edition) that actually fit flush and snug into the case and do not fall out or stick out obnoxiously (these are kind of hard to find, actually). It will also come with an aftermarket charger for those who pay full price. If you don't need a stylus and/or charger, send me a direct message and I'll knock a few dollars off the price. No games are included other than the software that comes pre-installed on these DSi XL consoles. I just use Mario Kart to show them in action.

* A note on batteries: Unless noted otherwise, all of my consoles ship with stock Nintendo batteries, which are generally over a decade old at this point. I will never intentionally sell you a battery that scares me (no spicy pillows), but I still highly recommend getting a new battery for any console of this age.
