This is a great Studio Pottery Stoneware Clay planter—
signed by Muriel Meray, a well known potter originally from Scandinavia. This is a hand-thrown planter. It was never used & is in perfect condition.
The pottery is unique to this designer, glazed in basically two tones with bottoms not glazed.
Two
scallop seashells are embedded in the design on the front of the planter. It's done in 2 shades of blue and a beige/tan color, with a speckled design. This
is what her work is known for.
It measures approx. 4-1/2" tall. The lip of the planter is 3-3/4" in diameter.
