THIS LOT :-

Antique very rare brooch pin.

Circa late Victorian period by the mounting and long pin the panel appears to be hand carved Mother of Pearl it is intricately cut with a depiction of a double headed griffin with crown above which I believe is the Imperial Russian crest.

The only damage I can see is the frame looks like it has a little mother of pearl loss on the edge on the right but I am not sure if this is damage or just the way it was carved.

the mount looks to be gold filled typical of late Victorian jewellery.

Measures 5cm x 4.2cm approx.
