Vintage Royce 17J Mens Mechanical Watch Working Well & Looks Superb.
The watch is fitted with a very tactile & well made DRGM German Fischer Glassando gold mesh strap of good length & good order, though the mesh is worn almost smooth in places.
The watch is a small classic design mans watch, a bronze coloured metal case, about 28mm diameter, nicely stylized lugs about 16mm apart.
The dial is a sort of silver white, black numerals, smaller outer second scale & numerals.
It has nicely lance shaped hands, black, & an overlong red pointer second hand giving it something of a military look.
The movement behind the steel snap back is a Swiss Royce Watch Co. 17 jewel.
It has no other visible calibre numbers etc.
It is keeping good time.
The only issue is when wound the stem has a tendency to grind a t intervals which is possibly wear or grime, though it the watch still runs accurately and winds to what I would say is pretty much its full potential giving good & fairly accurate run time.
It is actually a very good looking watch in tidy condition as can be seen in the photos, so please check them carefully for a closer inspection.
