This is a useable old case with character. It has a faux croc. skin patterned outer covering, which has 

age related wear and surface marking, and a green plush interior with age related fading. 

There is also a tan, monogrammed instrument blanket with this case.

The handle is strong and secure, with both end catches working. The central catch also works, though

the latch doesn't spring up when released, you just release it manually. The metalwork has age related

surface tarnishing.

It would suit a violin with a body length of up to 14.5". 

The width across the rear bout is 8.5", and 7" across the front.
