Born in Cornwall, Mike Nance is a self-taught contemporary artist who works in both oils and acrylics and has a large portfolio of subjects including different types of wildlife, moorlands and also battle scenes. This wider panoramic landscape in acrylic, shows a misty pink sunrise over Dartmoor with a pool in the foreground surrounded by flower grasses and gorse with the gently sloping moors fading ing into the misty sky. Beautifully executed with a gentle, highly detailed finish gibing the artwork a romantic feel. Lots of great colouring with subtle blending and no fading. Signed in the bottom right corner, framed by Torquay framers in good quality heavy gilt wood with slim scrolled inner edge and double mounted cream and inner beige. In good condition but there is damage to the side edge of the frame to the right. Please see photos.
