Nikon NIKKOR Prime Wide Angle manual focus lens for Nikon F mount.
Manufactured from 1979 to September of 1981. 5 elements in 5 groups. 62-degree angle of view. 7 oil-free diaphragm blades. Close focus is 0.3m or 1.0 foot. Quick 100-degree focus throw. It is 44.5mm long and 63.5mm in diameter. and weighs in at 240 grams. Easily accepts a 52mm filter and HN-3 hood.
There are some marks on the rear glass which do not affect image quality. I captured the sample images with this lens mounted on my D90. The photos for this listing were also taken with my D90 and a 60mm AF Micro-Nikkor.
I do not recommend this lens for digital photography even though it is compatible. There are plenty of nice well-priced AF lenses listed on eBay and a manual focus lens is somewhat inconvenient along with the metering issues using older lenses.
