Welcome to the sale of our trusty Ford Transit Minibus, we purchased the bus in July 2013 and at the time had covered just 44k miles, with 2 owners from new. The first was a group of scouts from Derbyshire and the second a private owner with a large family.

We purchased the bus with the intention of converting it to a full blown camper, but we never really got around to it after swopping out the front passenger seats for a single adjustable seat fitting a sky light and removing the rear passenger seats except the the row of three behind the driver we just used it for six years for glamping holidays after fitting it with a DIY bed arrangement (not available anymore) and a portable kitchen we used in the porch or under the canopy in good weather.

We now selling the bus as it hardly gets any use, just a low thousand miles over the last few years the mileage now stands at 101k

The bus is in good all round condition, starts on the button even if left for weeks in the winter, it’s always had anything replaced that it needed, I have included a detailed list of all work carried out, but just in general the oil has been changed ever 5k and we add 30ml of two stroke in ever tank of diesel.

There is problem showing of the dash see photo, we have a brake and ABS warning light permanently on the dash.

I will explain as clearly as I can, but if you need any further information please contact me.

When we took the bus to the last MOT on the journey there the dash went blank, no speedo, rev counter, fuel gauge and temp gauge. The odometer, clock and trip meter were fine.

It went through the MOT fine.

I looked on YouTube and it appeared to be a DIY fix by removing the instrument assembly and re-soldering the connections on the rear, this worked temporarily but was unable to make it reliable, maybe this was my soldering!

In the end I brought and second hand unit from eBay, but while fitting it, the brake and ABS warning appeared, the rest of the display was OK except the some odometer digits were incomplete

I obviously thought it was the new display problem, So I refitted the original and it appeared on that as well.

I have refitted the eBay item because the dials work, I still have the original and it would probably be best if this could be made to work reliably as it has the correct odometer reading.

I did get a friend to run the Forscan software and he said it appears the ABS unit is offline.

I have not investigated any further as I only have the basic wiring diagram in the Haynes manual.

The bus drives without fault with the warning lights showing, but would need to be sorted before the next MOT due in November

As you can see the bodywork is in good condition, the wheel arches, door bottoms and sills are all solid, but could do with a weekend work with the touch up paint which is included.

We had two small patches welded underneath for the last MOT, this was the first welding ever on the bus, but the welder was really surprised how good the condition was for the year of the van.

An offer maybe accepted but it will not be removed from sale until the vehicle is collected and paid for.

I will not cancel the Road tax straightaway to allow the purchaser to get the vehicle home and sort out their paperwork.
