This very collectable first pressing plays to the highest standard possible with no intrusion at all. I would say this double album has hardly been played based on the audio and that there is barely any spindle wear. The clarity, depth and power of the audio is STUNNING and it has to be the finest example I have ever listened to. A FINAL UPGRADE archive pressing.
The tri-fold cover is in superb condition with barely any wear, has to be the best I have seen, and the black inners are also in fantastic condition.

Visual description
The vinyls are in excellent condition and still have a strong glossy sheen. The first record especially is in great shape with only a few hairlines - the second for some reason does have a few more sleeve removal hairlines but they are superficial as they have no affect on the superb audio. They can only be seen under a bright light also at a certain angle. Under a more forgiving light both records look pristine. There are obviously no marks or scratches to be seen either. The second record does have a bit of a 'lift' on one edge which can be seen when the vinyl is rotating although less obvious when S4 is playing. It's not a major issue as it has no affect on the stylus or audio and as you approach the end of the first track on each side there is barely any 'lift' of the stylus. The labels are in lovely condition with barely any spindle wear.
Play grading
The acoustic intro on 'Hello' plays beautifully with only a couple of barely audible statics and as the tracks 'gets going' the audio is so strong and deep. The opening vocal is perfect and that applies to the entire track! There is no interference and it plays loud and true with great clarity and definition. A Mint start to the album.
'Roll With It' is just as impressive and plays with outstanding audio from start to finish. The depth and resonance of the audio is so impressive and Mint is again deserved.
The classic 'Wonderwall' plays with stunning precision throughout, there is no background not even a dust tick. Already it is obvious this album has hardly been played and that is reflected in the audio quality. Mint

The piano intro on 'Don't Look Back In Anger' has no intrusion and it continues in the same precise way. Every vocal and instrumental passage can only be described 'as new'. A classic track that grades as Mint in every way.
'Hey Now!' is equal to that and plays with phenomenal power and depth throughout. No interference just pure Mint audio.
The first 'Untitled' track has no intrusion and also grades as Mint
'Bonehead's Bank Holiday' ends the side with impeccable quality and of course no interference! Even the 'spoken' end section plays perfectly :-) Mint

'Some Might Say' plays with such strong dynamic and powerful audio! There is no interference or distortion and it just could not play any better. Mint
A slight shift in tone and 'Cast No Shadow' plays with exceptional clarity through every section and Mint is again 100% deserved.
'She's Electric' ends S3 with perfect audio. No background just pure Mint audio once more.

S4 plays as per the other three sides i.e. with literally nothing getting in the way of the audio. 'Morning Glory' is 'as new' with a sonic quality that is second to none and the second 'Untitled' track is just as impressive.
The classic 'Champagne Supernova' ends the album with high audio to say the least. The 'gentle' intro is flawless and it continues in the same exact way with not even a solitary dust tick for company. This is such a strong version and again there is no distortion on the top end. A prime example of that is during the high octane instrumental towards the end. The final vocal is perfect and this has to be the most 'complete' version I have ever heard - it provides a STUNNING Mint conclusion to this superb album.
In summary this first Damont pressing plays with phenomenal audio across all four sides with no interference whatsoever. NONE! The clarity of sound is perfect and the power and the depth of the audio cannot be faulted either. Another FINAL UPGRADE archive pressing in every way.
The Gatefold & Black Inner Sleeves
The tri-fold cover is in fantastic condition, in fact it is almost like new! The only wear is a small number of minor 'rubs' on the bottom edge of the right hand panel and some of the usual white 'specks' on the inside spine. But that is being super critical! It has retained its original shape and structure perfectly and is easily the finest example I have seen in many a year. The top edges, wide spine and both the front and back cover are immaculate! The inside is visually stunning also - a superb cover for sure!
The two glossy 'solid' black inners have no side splits or creasing and are as close to perfect as is possible.
The records have been cleaned on a Pro-Ject VC-S machine

I will only send items items worldwide via tracked shipping. This provides 'peace of mind' in case of loss or damage. The shipping costs are shown below and combined shipping is always offered. Any over-payment will always be refunded.
The Royal Mail only insure up to a value of £250 so if an item sells for more it may be wise to use a courier service (e.g. Parcelforce or DPD). An extra insurance premium will be required but I will not know the exact amount until the final sale price is known. Because of this I will sometimes have to estimate the cost and this will be shown in the listing. All vinyls are packaged in strong over-sized custom made mailers with plenty of extra cardboard protection. They are placed inside separate poly-lined inners outside the cover so as to avoid seam splits in transit and then placed inside a PVC sleeve to provide even more protection. I pride myself on my high quality packaging as my feed confirms and if any customer has any specific requirements I am more than happy to help.
The mailers I use cost £1.00 each and I will use anything between 3-5 cardboard stiffeners which cost approx £0.18 each. There is also the cost of the poly-lined inner and PVC sleeve to consider, it all adds up! Not forgetting that eBay take 10% of the shipping fee also!!
