Lot of 4 Vintage WW2 Model Airplane Kits

(Some missing parts)

Yes, I combine domestic shipping!

Please read the entire listing!!!

Please pay attention to the photos because they make up most of the description!

This listing is for a lot of 4 vintage World War II model airplane kits. All 4 of them are in 1/72 scale. These are older kits and are of special interest to collectors of vintage un-built models. Two of the kits are missing parts. They are as follows:

1. 1/72 scale Lindberg German Heinkel HE 100. This rare kit is missing its clear canopy and one of its landing gear covers. It comes with instructions and decals.

2. 1/72 scale Lindberg German Heinkel HE 162 Jet. This very rare kit has all its parts and comes with decals and instructions.

3. 1/72 scale Tamiya Japanese Raiden (Jack). This kit is missing its base, one landing gear strut and it has a broken rudder. The rudder can easily be glued together. Also, these kits were originally released with a small battery-operated motor. This motor is not present and can still be built without it because it does not show from the exterior.

4. 1/72 scale AMT British Westland Lysander. This kit has all its parts. Please note that a small part of it has been neatly started by having the fuselage and interior partly assembled. Also, one of the horizontal stabilizers is cracked and can easily be repaired. This kit comes with instructions and has decals to make either a British aircraft or a Free French aircraft.

The boxes are in fair shape for their age with the exception of the AMT box which is in poor shape. They have some minor scuffs, rips, creases, marks, tape, etc. The graphics on the boxes are vibrant and crisp.

Very important!! Since these are older kits please read my paragraph (below) concerning the handling and use of older decals!!

IMPORTANT TECH NOTE ABOUT DECALS: I don’t just sell models I also build them (for almost 60 years). I am a very experienced model builder and at one time even owned an architectural model building business so I wanted to offer some important advice about old decals. Often older or vintage model kits suffer from having the decals age and become brittle. When this happens they can crack into tiny pieces when you wet them. Please note: I’m not responsible for the condition of the decals on any kit that I sell! I have no way of knowing the exact condition of decals and cannot guarantee them! It is highly recommended that you should only apply them with the proper decal setting solutions. Additionally they may need to be sprayed with a decal-friendly clear cote or decal spray (being sprayed prior to wetting). (You should have no difficulty searching for these types of products and you can also find videos about treating old decals). If the kit you are building has a decal that you don’t need, then test this procedure on that decal first! (Or, if possible, at least test it on a decal that is located on the bottom of the model). Unfortunately in most cases, old decals often are beyond repair and you will need to purchase aftermarket decals, which are readily available. You can also purchase decal ink cartridges and / or sheets of clear decal film that can be used on a computer printer. You can scan the old decals and enhance them or change their scale, using a computer scanner. Then you can print your own decals. I always scan my decal sheets into my computer before I start to work with them in case I ever need to replicate them! All of these stated products can usually be found for sale here on eBay. If you ever have a decal question please feel free to contact me on eBay and I’ll try to help.

All the kits I sell are packaged well and placed in plastic bags prior to boxing them up so that they won’t be damaged if they get wet during shipping.

This listing is being sold “as is”.

Please feel free to ask questions.  I'll try to answer them the best that I can. Thank you.

SHIPPING: I combine shipping for items sold at the same time with the exception of items that will make the package too large to be mailed in one box. I try not to make a killing on postage and handling and I try to be fair (I have even lost money on postage). I like to use US Postal Service’s Priority mail for most items because they automatically come with some insurance. I package items very well. I do not take responsibility for damage caused by improper handling and shipping. Fragile items are placed in a bag prior to boxing and/or padding to prevent the chance of small parts coming off during shipping (due to rough handling) and then getting lost in the box or packaging.

Foreign Country Shipping: INTERNATIONAL BUYERS WILL HAVE TO USE THE “EBAY GLOBAL SHIPPING PROGRAM”. THIS IS MAY BE EXPENSIVE AT TIMES. HOW IT WORKS IS I SHIP YOUR PURCHASE TO THE EBAY GLOBAL CENTER ADDRESS THAT EBAY PROVIDES ME AND THEN EBAY SHIPS TO YOUR COUNTRY. I CANNOT SEND INVOICES WITH COMBINED SHIPPING OR ANY EBAY GUIDED OPTIONS. EBAY HANDLES ALL OF THIS. Please remember to be aware of any added taxes or customs charges you may have to pay in your own country. Also, as stated in my listings, you are responsible for paying the postage for any returns and I'm not responsible for any damage due to the extensive shipping and travel time!! Items damaged due to shipping will not be an excuse to return them! Items can only be returned if you can prove that they were not as listed. Sorry to be so legalistic, but I’ve been burned a few times.

PHOTOS: I try to provide good photos of all my items so you can have a very good view of what you are purchasing. Note: Sometimes I’ll place a ruler or a familiar item, like a dollar bill, in the photos. These are placed there for scale only (they are not included with the purchase).

Returns: Items have a 30-day money back guarantee, (from the day you receive them). Items must be returned in the exact same condition as they were sent, or they will not be accepted as a return. Any item that was in original “factory sealed”, shrink-wrap can only be returned if shrink-wrap has not been removed or the factory seal(s) have not been broken! All our items are sent to you well packaged and should be returned in the same manner. (Especially fragile items or items containing small parts). Return postage will be your responsibility, unless you have first made arrangements with me. Artwork or items sold “as is” cannot be returned unless you can show me they were not described properly. (Duplication of our artwork is not permitted without written, signed permission from the artist)! Remember, used items are just that, used items (I don’t sell abused items unless they are being sold and listed for restoration, or as parts). I do my best to describe the conditions of my items in an honest manner. I don’t take responsibility for consequential damage, so I advise that you check your items soon after receiving them.

My goal is happy customers so don't hesitate to communicate with me!  I’m glad to answer questions. I hope you enjoy bidding on our Items. Thank you and God Bless!
