Very nice vintage thermometer- we are the original owners

Tested in hot water, and the gauge started to move and register the temperature

Box is clean and sturdy- and inside is also very clean 

No pitting or rust on thermometer itself- the metal is nice and shiny-I wonder if it was ever used!!

The thermometer has a side clip so it hangs on the pan

Back part of storage box is a little faded ( a lighter orange) but can still see all printing

There are shadows in my photos- especially on photos of the metal pieces- those pieces are excellent condition
