This is a circulated 5 Pfennig Notgeld from Chemnitz, Germany, issued during World War I. The note was used as currency within a POW camp and is a unique piece of history. The note is ungraded and uncertified but is in good condition considering its age. The design features the denomination in the center with the inscription "Kriegsgefangenenlager Chemnitz" (Chemnitz POW camp) surrounding it. The back of the note has a decorative pattern. This is a rare piece of German history and would make a great addition to any collection.
