Mid C20th Ornate framed Indistinctly Signed oil On Canvas Paddling Near Hong Kong

Measurements including frame 54cm x 44cm

Probably a late 1960s, early 1970s ornately framed oriental oil of moored and beached junks with 3 people paddling on the stony riverbank. Painted in more muted tones of browns, greens and white it has muted mountains in the background with a small wooden, covered jetty. Beautifully observed and executed with a touch of abstract to the characters and finish to the boats. Signed in the bottom right by what look like S Tilp or similar. Framed in very good quality, heavy ornate wood in a matt finish of beige. Sold by Ocean Terminal Hong Kong which opened in 1966. In very good condition with no damage, please see photos
