**Older full restoration**

First registered 17/02/1971 (Maltese cross lights in the wings)

Older restoration (approx 2015) with minimal mileage covered since. Extensive work included:

New Galvanised chassis and galvanised bulk head

Galvanised Windscreen surround

New Wiring loom and fuel tank

Full engine rebuild

New drums, brake lines, shoes and master and wheel cylinders all round

New canvas top

Seat box has had new side panels and the rear tub has had new back panels

New front head lights and galvanised front grill panel

New front bumper and 3 new seats and inertia seat belts x3

Refurbished radiator 

New clutch

Reconditioned fairey overdrive unit

Garaged since restoration

Recent £7,000 service and maintenance work completed in the last few years including:

Full strip down and respray in factory Bronze green as per heritage certificate

5 new tyres and freshly painted limestone wheels

New paintman outer front wing and front panel

Parabolic springs upgrade 

Full service including all fluids, new rear hub seal, rear diff pinion seal, both track rod ends, new back box, washer pump, new brake cylinders, shoes and steering relay and wax oiled.

A cool looking LR with the addition of the fairy overdrive and parabolic springs gives it a more compliant ride and a bit more pace. A super reliable and very solid series 2A thats had lots of recent expenditure and is now ready to be enjoyed, bring on the sunshine.

Tax and MOT exempt but just had a fresh MOT with no advisories now valid until 05/03/2025

Unverified mileage. Speedo changed at 25,145 miles and is now showing 1997 miles. Original speedo is still with the LR.
