Mineral Cactus and Succulent Potting Mix

This is a soilless potting mix for cacti and succulents.

This is almost entirely mineral .

Some Premium Succulent Mixes use sand and/or coir.

Sand inhibits good drainage and aeration due to the tiny grains

which will eventually solidify and stop the mix draining efficiently.

All the elements of my Succulent mix are of equal size which

optimises the qualities set out below.

This mix is handmade in small batches.

This mix contains:

Moler Clay

Lava rocks

Pumice

Zeolite

Mycorrhizal Fungi (to enhance rooting)

Why use a mineral potting mix for your succulents?

- Superior Drainage

- Superior Aeration to the roots

- Potting Mix can be reused, therefore less waste - far cheaper than 

   buying more soil each time you repot.

- Succulents will grow more compact and chunky

- This soil will dry out quickly whilst holding 

   water and nutrients for use by the plant roots.

- Mix drains quickly and helps to prevent overwatering.

- Visually this soil looks good and a top dressing

   is not required.
