inner sleeve, to avoid damage to the spine or edges in transit. with the

Items are primarily graded visually, because ?light surface noise? means nothing, whereas a scratch is undeniably a scratch. we always grade honestly, and try to fully describe the condition of all playable media. In reality, the grade given is generally a blend of visual and play testing and we always keep in mind what we would expect to receive when we receive items,If any item is''play tested'' it will mention this in the ad.

LP'S ARE VISUALLY GRADED
UNLESS STATED
PLEASE TAKE NOTE .
We never list anything as mint unless it is new :
EX = Disc plays near perfectly, but may have minor paper scuffs that do not interfere with the sound quality. There can possibly be a hairline scratch or two but nothing that is obvious or affects play. Vinyl is bright and shiny; label is clean and unmarked.

VG+ = Some visible surface wear, very minor scratches and scuffs, but minimal impact on the sound quality. Vinyl will still have good luster; labels may have minor imperfections (small labels or initials, etc.) but otherwise clean.
VG = Vinyl will have noticeable scratches or scuffs that cause minor surface noise, but do not overpower the music. There will be no skips. Vinyl may appear somewhat dull and grayish. Labels may have small tears, tape marks, larger writing, etc. but still easily legible. There may be wear or deformation of the spindle hole.
VG- = Vinyl will have noticeable scratches or scuffs that cause surface noise + There might be skips GOOD = Well played, dull, grayish vinyl with deeper scratches and wear causing distracting surface noise (hisses, pops, cracks and other nasties).The record will still play through without any jumps. Labels may be significantly defaced or damaged.

Regarding surface noise on vinyl, VG means there may be audible noise in quiet passages only (and occasionally in normal passages but not enough to distract from the music).
VG+ means infrequent noise in quiet passages, none in normal passages. An EX sounds (and looks) like new.
we visually grade each item and if we listened to it we will state "play-graded"making clear that it was played in the comments.
