From my personal collection,.. dated November 29th 1847 is this genuine Alexandria DC cover letter with a " forgery Blue boy " Alexandria provisional stamp.

Just for reference there is only one genuine Blue boy cover with the blue boy stamp that is dated November 25th 1847 and that one is genuine unique, so we know the letter sheet itself went through the post office 4 days after the original unique was sent however someone added this blue boy stamp forgery.

You will see a small square someone had repaired a hole using part of this paper but it does not distract the markings are correct on the original cover letter.
