Lot of 2 Vintage Playskool Peanuts puzzles. Snoopy and Lucy in SMAK! 230-07, an 8 piece puzzle, and Lucy and Charlie Brown in I Can Cure Anything # 230-18 a 7 piece puzzle. The dates on the puzzles - as sellers are listing them are 958, however, this is the copyright date of the Peanuts characters - also says 1952, 1958 on SMAK and 1950, 1952 on I Can Cure. I have read the history of Playskool and do not see where they were making wooden puzzles like these in the 50's. Likely they are late 60's or early 70's. Having lived through the times, the Peanuts Gang was very hot then. Anyway, here's a pair - the I Can Cure one seems to be rare. Family items. We all played with them. Somewhere along the way Snoopy's original face piece went missing. Dad was a woodworker and carved and painted a new one. It fits fine. Anyway, they need a new home.
