I first met Dave Cottengim over twenty years ago. He lived in Garner,NC and I took him a Golden Witch Bamboo Rod which he finished for me to perfection. This rod is the third I have owned by him and is a beautiful example of his work. I am not sure he is making rods anymore for sale. He told me he was doing this to save up money to buy a mountain house by a nice stream. I hope he got it!
