This is a Victorian era gold-fill extra long 48" guard/muff chain necklace. It's in remarkable shape as antique chains tend to break and not age gracefully due to their delicacy. But, here the gold-fill is in lovely shape with few areas of wear. You will not find anything else out there that looks like this and everyone will admire your locket or fob as it dangles from this original antique heirloom.
The 48" chain is in great shape and the swivel hook/clasp functions well.
