We’ve been selling karaoke since 1988. That’s a long time! When I wanted to put my business phone number in the Yellow Pages the “karaoke” category did not even exist. I had to list the business under “Musical Accompaniment”. I’ve seen a lot of changes in these three decades. The formats that we have used to listen to our music has gone from cassette tapes and Laser Discs to Compact Discs w/Graphics, MP3+G and digital downloads. The good news for those that still have a karaoke cd+g player is that we still have thousands of discs still available, many of them are rare and hard-to-find, such as this one.
This is indeed one of the greatest collection of John Lennon songs put together on one disc. John Lennon is a music legend. It can be argued that he was the greatest of the Beatles but why make comparisons. (Comparisons kill!) We know he was a great songwriter and an advocate for peace and love. Here is a great collection of his short lived career as a solo artist and includes the two songs that he wrote that were made into " are all excellent Beatles' tracks here for you to sing, 'Free As A Bird' from 1995 and 'Now And Then' which was just released. Add in the other songs listed below and you've got an awesome collection from the the one and only John Lennon to belt out! This disc includes songs that are quite difficult to find, the nineteen listed below.
