A Very Nice Cherry Chippendale Tall Chest of Drawers, Lehigh Valley of Pa, Circa 1800

Lehigh Valley of PA (Lehigh/Berks/Northampton Counties) Circa 1800

A very nice 3 over 4 drawer arrangement. Fluted lamb's tongue quarter columns flanking the drawers on either side of the case. Cove moulded top cornice moulding. Solid Cherry primary wood, and all pine secondary woods. Replaced brass hardware, and replaced feet. 

A nice clean chest, with a few restorations. 100% serviceable for the next 200 years. 

Size: 42" wide, 20 1/2" deep, 54" tall. 39 1/2" case width. 

Condition: Some scratches and scuffs from age and use. The lowermost drawer has a piece of the lip moulding missing. Replaced feet, and replaced brasses in redrilled holes. Several repairs to the lip mouldings from age/use. Small spot of white paint transfer on the front of the case. See pictures.
