The Made in Japan Hybrid II is a truly "hybrid" series, incorporating all-mighty modern specs for any player or genre of music, while maintaining the vintage looks. Made in Japan, the Hybrid II Jazz Bass is a product that combines the playability and tone of an instrument that fits any guitarist or bassist, rhythm or lead, and is made in Japan, a country with a worldwide fan base.
The Hybrid II Jazz Bass features the acclaimed alder body with newly staggered polepiece Hybrid II Custom Voiced Single Coil pickups and a sustain block under the vintage-style bridge. Vintage-style tuners, satin-finish neck, Modern C shape with 9.5" radius fingerboard and narrow-tall frets provide smooth playability.
Note that this FSR (=Fender Special Run) Collection is a limited edition 2023 model with colors and matching heads not available in the regular lineup. Ikebe Instruments offers Deep Ocean Metallic, which has been popular in past models. Combined with the white pearl pickguard, it has a fearless and gorgeous look.
